BUENA VISTA TWP, MI — Members of UAW Local 699 will soon vote on another tentative agreement between the union and Nexteer Automotive.
The two parties reached the tentative agreement earlier this month.
This is the second tentative agreement UAW Local 699 members have had the opportunity to vote on this year. On Feb. 25, union membership voted down a tentative five-year agreement previously reached by Nexteer management and the UAW bargaining committee. The vote was 85% opposed and 14% in favor.
