Dear Supporters of UAWD and the One Member One Vote campaign,

We want to take a minute away from organizing for One Member, One Vote to thank you for making our Fall fundraising drive a success. Because of you, we raised over $75,000 to fund our campaign to win direct elections in the UAW and lay a solid foundation for the many fights to come. All of these funds go directly towards taking back our great union and making it a force for democracy and rank and file power. So far, your solidarity has allowed us to leaflet over 40 large UAW locals, send postcards to 75,000 UAW members, reach almost 100,000 people through Facebook ads, and get news coverage at important newspapers and TV stations in the Midwest. We learned this week that over 120,000 people have already voted in the referendum—this makes your support even more meaningful. But most importantly, your support has helped us build a base of thousands of supporters who we can organize with in the fights to come. A union with almost 400,000 working members and 600,000 retirees will not be transformed overnight. We appreciate your commitment to this formidable task. Above all, we are thankful to have supporters who are dedicated not only to helping us rebuild our great union, but also to building a labor movement that is  based on democracy and power for the working class. In solidarity, The UAWD Steering CommitteeScott Houldieson, UAW Local 551       Justin Mayhugh, UAW Local 31           Eric Truss, UAW Local 600Chris Budnick, UAW Local 862           Martha Grevatt, UAW Local 869Michael Cannon, UAW Local 282 Andrew Bergman, UAW Local 5118        Jose Estrada Perez, Local 6645Cody Zaremba, UAW Local 602         Bill Parker, UAW Local 1700
