Book Club: Autoworkers Under the Gun by Gregg Shotwell

The UAWD Education Committee is excited to announce our first reading group session on Sunday, June 25 at 1pm EST! This will be the first of several sessions on Autoworkers Under the Gun by Gregg Shotwell. We encourage every kind of UAW worker to come and learn and discuss how the auto industry got to where it is today with Brother Shotwell’s powerful writing from 20 years ago.
Here is the syllabus and this week’s reading. We plan to meet monthly and have a continuing discussion. Please come regardless of whether you’ve done the reading! It will be summarized. If you can’t get to it, we still would love your participation.
