How to Hold a Practice Picket

UAW members around the country are organizing practice pickets to show the company we are serious, unified and ready for the fight ahead. By giving management a preview of what a possible strike could look like, we give our negotiators leverage and put pressure on the company. Are you wondering whether your local could do a practice picket of your own?
UAWD is hosting a free class that will teach you how to organize a practice picket, together with experts from Labor Notes, the Teamsters, and fellow UAW members who have held successful practice pickets at their local. The time is Sunday, August 27 at 2pm ET.
