Bargaining Convention 2023

The 2023 Special Convention on Collective Bargaining is happening in Detroit, Michigan, from Monday, March 27, to Wednesday, March 29. For more information, see the call to convention here and below, and visit UAWD's Bargaining Convention HQ.

Open to all UAWD members and supporters, both delegates and non-delegates, to finish any remaining agenda items from Sunday night’s meeting, assign resolutions to delegates, and walk over to the convention floor.

All UAW members are welcome! This will commence after proceedings wrap up. Invite fellow UAW members who want to engage in members in a Big 3 Contract Campaign over the next 6 months!

Join us for a celebration of all we’ve accomplished together in the past year, including the successes of the UAW Members United campaign, and invite anyone you might want to introduce to fellow UAWD members! We will be upstairs at the Greenwich Time Pub, a 10-min walk from Huntington Place.

We’ll be coordinating delegates on the floor to carry out the strategy we’ve decided on as a caucus. Meanwhile, the UAWD room will be open and staffed with volunteers – if you meet anyone who might want to learn more about UAWD, bring them by the room to have some coffee and chat with us!

We will be holding an event in the UAWD room during the delegate dinner for other members and supporters to learn about the history of rank-and-file movements in the UAW.
