The sentencing of a former United Auto Workers official from Grand Island has once again been postponed.
Jeffery Pietrzyk Sr. was scheduled to be sentenced on June 23 by a federal judge in Detroit, but the sentencing was moved to Sept. 2. Pietrzyk’s attorney, Robert Singer, requested the postponement because the court is not currently allowing in-person appearances by defendants.
