uawd Mexico & International Solidarity committee
Mexico is a crucial piece in the supply-chain puzzle for UAW employers like the Big Three, Caterpillar, and others in auto. Per the resolution approved at the membership meeting, UAWD will be launching a Committee on Mexico & International Solidarity to support greater involvement by UAW/UAWD in auto-sector organizing south of the border, as well as in Canada and other countries where UAW employers are located. Next steps for the committee include supply-chain research, campaign visits, and worker-to-worker online meetings.
