Confirmed COVID-19 cases are rising at Louisville’s two Ford plants, the Kentucky Truck Plant and Louisville Assembly Plant.

A social media post Monday from KTP building chairman Allen Hughes said 20 coronavirus cases had been confirmed in his building, which had undergone targeted cleaning following two new cases that had been confirmed on Friday, and local UAW 862 President Todd Dunn said cases had risen at the nearby LAP as well. Like the rest of the city, Ford workers in Louisville have been impacted by an increase in cases that started toward the beginning of the month, when the plants were closed for the Independence Day holiday.
