Several Toledo Jeep workers are suing Fiat Chrysler Automobiles, the UAW, and others, alleging they conspired to keep wages, benefits, and seniority from the plaintiffs.
The civil RICO lawsuit was filed Monday in U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Ohio’s Western Division. Twenty-seven Jeep employees, all United Auto Workers union members who were hired in 2007 as temporary part-time workers, say FCA and UAW officials engaged in a scheme to prevent them from reaching and keeping their Tier I salary status.
