The UAW Monitor has called the election for Shawn Fain! Shawn will be the next President of the UAW, and reformers will gain majority control of the UAW International Executive Board for the first time in history. A new day is dawning for our union.
The unofficial vote count has now concluded, with the UAW Monitor to certify official results. Results can be viewed here. We thank each and every member who participated in this unprecedented first direct election of our top leadership.
Our entire union family now needs to come together to take on the Big Three and the many other challenges facing the UAW. We are more powerful when the membership is in the driver’s seat of our union, and this election has proved it!
