Racially charged graffiti was posted inside a men’s restroom at General Motors Spring Hill Manufacturing Facility on Monday, the company and union told The Daily Herald on Tuesday.


The unspecified messages were written on walls in a bathroom near the General Assembly section of the sprawling, 7.9 million-square foot facility, the company’s largest in North America. GM management and the United Auto Workers Local 1853 condemned the comments Tuesday, saying the perpetrator would be fired.
